What participants say
I had meditated before, but this experience was unlike any other. I felt truly calm and centred, as though a weight had lifted. For the first time, my breath simply was: effortless, grounding and deeply peaceful.
Dr. Rana's mindfulness sessions made a big difference in my life. They helped me through difficult times and left me feeling more grounded. I felt like I had the stability to face what I was going through.
About Dr. Punam Rana
Dr. Punam Rana is a medical oncologist, epidemiologist and certified meditation teacher based in Toronto. After more than a decade caring for people living with cancer, she became increasingly interested in the parts of health that happen outside the prescription pad: how we sleep, move, eat, manage stress, connect with others and relate to our own minds.
She has taught mindfulness to patients, physicians, healthcare teams, mothers and children, and developed a hospital-based mindfulness program for people living with cancer. Her work brings together rigorous medicine with practical tools for living with greater awareness, agency and connection.
